Have you ever?

Have you ever...
Have you ever loved,
When all said don't?

Fought your soul,
Referred your heart,
To all the facts,

And still,
No, it says,
I will love!

Have you felt,
That that view is spoilt,
That bread pointless,
That achievement nothing,

For you,
Your heart is disquiet!

Have you ever longed constantly,
For one at a distance,
And had no satisfying glance,
No redemption from that want?

Have you ever?
Surely not?

Though for me!
This is my heart!?
